Company Overview: Join a leading global manufacturer as an Automation/Controls Engineer, where you will spearhead the development and enhancement of advanced process control strategies and equipment reliability programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational continuity and efficiency through innovative automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cutting-edge process control strategies to boost operational performance and reliability.

Analyze and address recurring maintenance issues by conducting root cause analyses (RCAs) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECAs) to initiate necessary equipment or procedural changes.

Enhance and oversee the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Plans to ensure maximum equipment uptime.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and other automated production equipment.

Manage electrical and instrumentation components, including specification reviews and recommendations for replacing obsolete parts.

Optimize processes and control budgets by improving efficiencies, reducing process times, labor, and material costs.

Facilitate updates and improvements to the SAP Plant Maintenance System.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in process control, automation, and electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.

Proficient in the installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, especially PLCs, motor controls, and instrumentation.

Demonstrated ability in advanced problem-solving within automation and controls contexts.

Eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
