Senior Software Developer – Hybrid

Clientmind Recruiting is searching for a Senior Software Engineer for a leading innovator of Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) solutions. They build sophisticated, military-grade PNT products that improve the safety and mission effectiveness of soldiers operating in hostile, GPS-denied environments. They are looking for a senior software developer/computer engineer (3-6 years’ experience) who is enthusiastic about delivering mission critical solutions delivering position and time.  In this role, you will contribute to and lead software development efforts, with opportunities spanning embedded, front end, back end, mobile, web, communications, and security.  

The job will require experience in the following areas:

C++, C, C#, Java

Power-efficient and resource limited programming techniques

Development on embedded platforms

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

Math/physics or related background, algorithm development

Relational and NoSQL databases, including spatial queries; MongoDB

3D visualization using OpenGL/WebGL

Container architectures, implementation on enterprise servers as well as cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure/Amazon AWS

Mobile development, particularly on Android

REST API development

User interface design/development

Front end web development

Candidate qualifications should include:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field

Between 3 and 6 years of software programming experience

US citizen with or willing to get a security clearance.

Located in the DC-Baltimore area; hybrid work environment with ~3 days in office and 5 as required.
