Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an AWS Cloud DevOps as a Service professional. In this role, you will be responsible for providing DevOps services and expertise to our clients on the AWS cloud platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage robust and scalable DevOps solutions that enable efficient software delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective DevOps strategies and solutions on the AWS platform.

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and configuration management using industry best practices and AWS services, such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS CloudFormation.

Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of AWS infrastructure and applications by implementing appropriate monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery measures.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and facilitate efficient software delivery processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in a timely manner, working closely with development and operations teams.

Conduct regular performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of AWS resources.

Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and AWS services, and provide recommendations for process improvements and tooling enhancements.

Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Extensive experience working in a DevOps role, with a focus on AWS cloud technologies.

Strong knowledge of AWS services, such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFront.

Proficiency in CI/CD tools and technologies, such as Git, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.

Solid understanding of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling development.

Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification.

Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures on AWS.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of other cloud platforms, such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

Understanding of security best practices in AWS.
