Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities
The BI Developer will be a core member of the IT team which maintains the enterprise data warehouse for FXI data across multiple applications. The role will report to the Director of Business Intelligence. Specific responsibilities include:
Design, implement and maintain data warehouse solutions including data migration tools, data modeling, data integration, data warehousing and database design.
Design and shape the business intelligence architecture including recommendations for new tools & capabilities.
Collaborate with BI Analyst and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Manage Power BI semantic models.
Assist BI Analysts with complex DAX measures and optimization of measures to improve performance.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand and execute data requirements including the integration of data from all key applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and dashboard responsiveness problems.
Lead projects to improve performance and functionality.
Ensure data security.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or specialized training/certification, or equivalent work experience
3-5 years of experience as a BI Developer or Architect using an enterprise class business intelligence and analytics solution
Experience with Power BI: semantic models, Power Query
Advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) skills
Advanced SQL skills. Experience with creating/maintaining stored procedures & structured views
Experience with Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS), Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
Experience with ETL/ELT tools, specifically Azure Data Factory
Cloud to cloud integration
Scripting, API development, Web connectors
Data Lake design
OLAP (Online analytical processing)
Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP ECC or S/4Hana a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Translate complex business problems into technical specifications
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to organize, analyze, and present data
Ability to manage multiple priorities
